It was broadcast throughout Asia and Europe including The Cannes Television Festival last year. I was given just a month create everything, the background was drawn and painted in water-colour in a day, the train's journey however took a month to animate.

1. Self-Portrait
This started out as a publicity picture for a blog interviewing me about my musical influences as a DJ. There are many variations on this picture, so many I could only include a small fraction in the slideshow; they work very well when I want to tag an otherwise non-visual creative piece as my own, such as a compilation CD, EP cover or mixtape for example. I went round the contours of my face with white lines on Adobe Illustrator and then layered it over my painting of the same photograph.

2. Party & Bullshit 001 - Grizzle
In my spare time, I work as the creative director for Party & Bullshit Events. I produce every piece of artwork they use occasionally collaborating with other artists.
As this was their first compilation mix CD, I was commissioned to design a prototype.

3. Edie
I tried to find a regular way of visually presenting someones' personality. Starting with a list of general character traits, I ordered each into two extremes, and each being connected by a scale of 1-10. For example: 'how confident are you? '1' = very shy, '10' = very outgoing. As I did this with different questions and different models, I put the results into a bar-chart and assigned each bar a colour. Looking at the chart I selected the three most popular personality traits (and their colours) would choose what colour's the final image would be in. Each image is constructed of 100's of tiny different coloured segments of the original image this is created from.

5. Ethane - 'Rock The Boat' - Single
Cover-art for the digital release of this debut single from London-based house-music producer Ethane. It's written in the nautical flag alphabet , in addition to the obvious theme of the track, I chose it because I was tired of album covers being so instant and disposable. I wanted it to be something you could enjoy and appreciate as long as the track itself, rather than just being a relatively primitive tool to sell the record and display its basic information.

6. 'Bee' - Pencil Sketch
Quick pencil sketch to practice proportion and shading. Even with my fascination and skills in computer generated art, I feel it's important to keep more traditional skills strong as well.

7. 'Bee' Digital Portrait
This is a development of item 6, the pencil sketch was also a way to familiarize myself with the structure of the subject's facial structure before recreating it in such detail.

9. 'The Mungo House'
Produced in the early stages of my fascination with 3D digital models but before I had access or the knowledge to use any more sophisticated and purpose-built software. My little sister however loves to play Sims 3, I realized that I could manipulate something meant for fun and gaming, to be used for art. This experiment was inspired by the word of my current Favorite artist - Alex Sushon, specifically his EP covers relased around three years ago for Bok Bok and Mosca.

10. Neana
My experimental search for new ways to make art lead me to Cinema 4D. The 3D digital head you see before you is that of Neana. I it named it so because I ended up using it for a Radio 1xtra flyer i was commissioned to do, advertising a guestmix from Neana & Moleskin on Madam X's show.

18. Photo Collage / Screen-Print / Pen Drawing
- Started off as an old family photograph of my father in his youth. He was part of a punk band called 'Evil Baby' where he played "the hoover" apparently... The end product is a screen-print with the original image sketched around it.

19. Mungo Visuals
This photo was taken in early January. I was the headline DJ for an event at The Whiled Cinema in Brixton, London. In preparation I produced an hour long series of altered, distorted and re-appropriated footage to bring something else to the feel and atmosphere of my performance, it was so popular on the night I have had multiple commissions to do similar things for other artists. Personally, the relationship between art and music fascinates me but I use my interest in both subjects to enrich the other rather than allowing my two interests to have any antagonistic relationship.
